Although Pierce has lived in Texas, Kentucky, Ohio, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire, he is Floridian through and through. When he is not reading and writing, you can usually find him stalking redfish in the marsh. He also enjoys other types of saltwater fishing, playing guitar, chess, basketball, and collecting coins.
