Natasha V. Fisher

Overview

Natasha V. Fisher is an attorney at Jimerson Birr, where she first started as a summer associate in May of 2022. Ms. Fisher works on a wide range of commercial litigation matters, with a special focus on construction litigation and bankruptcy.

Ms. Fisher earned her Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law, graduating with honors. During her time at Emory, Ms. Fisher held the position of Managing Editor on the Emory International Law Review and was awarded the Red Pen Award for her excellent work in legal writing and editing by the Law Review. Additionally, Ms. Fisher served as the Director of Communications for the Emory Health Law Society during the Covid-19 pandemic, a critical and defining time for health law. Ms. Fisher earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Mississippi in Business Administration, where she graduated cum laude, with a Minor in Chemistry, after just three years. 

Before joining Jimerson Birr, Natasha Fisher gained valuable experience and insight into the administrative perspective of employment and benefits law through her legal internship with the Texas Workforce Commission. The Commission selected Ms. Fisher for the only intern position in the Office of the Chairman, the head of the Commission. She also spent a semester as an extern with the Domestic Relations Department at Atlanta Legal Aid, where she earned the opportunity to improve her litigation and client advocacy skills while providing compassionate service to clients in delicate situations.

Ms. Fisher was born in California and raised in Austin, Texas, which solidified her love for Mexican food. After graduating from Emory Law, Ms. Fisher moved to Jacksonville, joining the rest of her family who lives just south of Jacksonville, in St. Augustine. Outside of work, Ms. Fisher enjoys spending time with her two kittens, playing golf, watching true crime, listening to audiobooks, going to the beach, and attempting any watersports she has or hasn’t tried.
