Jimerson Birr takes pride in removing this stress by making each transaction as smooth as possible for buyers, sellers, and realtors. We thoroughly examine the title history for every property that closes with our office to ensure there are no issues affecting the marketability of the title to the property. Our staff orders all of the surveys, municipal lien searches, mortgage payoffs and association estoppels prior to closing. We prepare the settlement statement in accordance with the contract, and all of the title conveyance documents are prepared and reviewed by attorneys. Our team works seamlessly with the buyer’s lender to navigate the mortgage process to provide accurate and complete loan documents. Our attorneys are able to walk through the mortgage process with all buyers at the closing table to make sure no one leaves the closing without having their questions about financing answered in detail.
