Overview

Chris Meadows is a seasoned Chief Operating Officer and attorney with a career spanning high-growth private enterprises, complex law firm operations, and senior leadership roles within Florida state government and large nonprofit organizations. Known for his ability to translate strategy into execution, Chris brings a rare combination of legal rigor, operational discipline, and business acumen to organizations navigating growth, risk, and transformation.

Previously, Chris served as Interim Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel of a national digital marketing and public relations agency with more than 70 professionals. Here Chris oversaw enterprise-wide operations and all legal matters for a rapidly scaling corporation. In this dual role, he led organizational strategy, workflow optimization, and data-driven performance initiatives while also managing contracts, compliance, intellectual property, and risk.

Chris served as Chief Operating Officer of an eight-figure personal injury law firm, where he oversaw all administrative, financial, marketing, intake, human resources, IT, and facilities functions for a 40+ person organization. During his tenure, he led major systems migrations, restructured staffing models, and helped drive a 15% increase in net profits within his first year. His leadership ensured that attorneys could focus on advocacy while the firm operated with discipline, transparency, and efficiency.

Earlier in his career, Chris held senior leadership and legal roles with the Florida Department of Children and Families and NWF Health Network, managing procurement, contracts, compliance, and policy for organizations overseeing billions of dollars in public and nonprofit services. As Assistant General Counsel and later Director-level executive, he advised on public procurement, employment law, rulemaking, and legislative initiatives, and was responsible for building standardized contracting frameworks, training programs, and compliance systems across multiple counties and statewide agencies. Chris served as a Committee Attorney for the Government Operations Subcommittee, in the Florida House of Representatives. Here Chris provided legislators, and the public, technical and legal opinions on matters pertaining to collective bargaining and public labor, employment, employee benefits, employee retirement and pensions (local and state), and state procurement. Prior to joining the Florida House of Representatives Chris successfully litigated complex insurance cases at the First District Court of Appeal, Florida Circuit Courts, and the Florida Division of Administrative Hearings.

Chris lives in Tallahassee, Florida with his wife Rian, triplets, Hadley, Carson, and Reese, and his yellow lab Lilly. When he is not at work you can find him down at the coast, traveling the world, searching for fantastic restaurants, and riding his bike.
