Matthew Fornaro

Overview

Matthew Fornaro is a contract attorney at Jimerson Burr, P.A., assisting businesses and entrepreneurs with complex commercial disputes and practical legal solutions. Since 2003, he has represented companies and individuals across Florida in contract disputes, real estate conflicts, and related business matters.

His practice includes real estate disputes, unfair competition and trade secret matters, and creditor-rights litigation, including collections and post-judgment recovery. He also advises on intellectual property issues and corporate governance for closely held businesses.

Mr. Fornaro is a Florida Supreme Court Certified County Mediator and Qualified Arbitrator and serves as a FINRA Dispute Resolution Arbitrator. He previously practiced litigation at two AmLaw 200 law firms.

He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, including an Intellectual Property Law Certificate, and remains active in professional and civic organizations in Broward County.
