Overview
Grace Roberts is an attorney at Jimerson Birr, P.A., where she began as a law clerk in the fall of 2024. Since joining the firm, Ms. Roberts’ practice has grown to include a variety of legal areas, including community associations, construction, landlord/tenant disputes, and commercial arbitration. She is passionate about developing long-term relationships with clients and assisting them in a wide range of matters.
Ms. Roberts graduated from the University of Michigan in 2022, the same year she began her law school career at the University of North Carolina. As a law student, Ms. Roberts served as the president of the Sports and Entertainment Law Association, the treasurer of the American Constitution Society, and the top oral advocate on North Carolina’s Moot Court team.
During the summer after her 1L year at North Carolina, Ms. Roberts was a summer associate at Orr | Cook in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. In her second summer of law school, she worked as a summer associate at an environmental law firm in Raleigh, North Carolina. Prior to entering the legal field, Ms. Roberts worked as a substitute teacher, a tutor for Detroit Public Schools, and a barista.
Ms. Roberts was born and raised in South Portland, Maine, and she attributes much of her dedication and steadfast commitment to representing clients to her New England roots. In addition to law, Ms. Roberts is passionate about sports, especially her hometown teams in New England, the North Carolina Tar Heels, and the Michigan Wolverines. Outside the office, she can regularly be found fishing off the Jacksonville coast or exploring the local restaurant scene with her friends and her partner, Nick.
