Overview
Cassidy Mandelbaum is an Attorney at Jimerson Birr who prides herself on technical excellence and client service. Cassidy puts her passion for creative problem solving and sharp intellect to work for her clients and the firm. Cassidy works on a diverse range of commercial litigation matters and intellectual property matters.
In May 2025, Cassidy earned her Juris Doctor, from Washington University in St. Louis, School of Law. As a law student, she was a member of the Global Studies Law Review and received the William M. Pomerantz Award for her success in the INTA Saul Lefkowitz Trademark Moot Court Competition. She also worked for the First Amendment Clinic, where she served real clients defending their right to speak, hear and be heard.
Prior to joining Jimerson Birr, Cassidy worked as a Legal Intern at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Florida, Jacksonville Division. Her work for the USAO provided her with unparalleled trial experience from filing to sentencing, deepened her understanding of the litigation process, and rounded out her experience with exposure to the criminal process. She continues to build her litigation skills.
A Jacksonville-area native, Cassidy grew up in Fernandina Beach. She is a triple Gator, graduating with a bachelor’s degrees in marketing and Tourism, Hospitality, Event and Sport Management, a minor in real estate, and a Master’s of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Florida. Following law school in Missouri, Cassidy is happy to be home, serving her community.
Outside the law, Cassidy is an artist and children’s book author. She enjoys spending time with her family and visiting new places.
