Overview
Bryan M. Davis joined Jimerson Birr, P.A. as an associate attorney in 2021 specializing in community association law and a broad spectrum of litigation practice areas. Mr. Davis brings a unique approach to his practice with meticulous attention to detail for clients navigating the most complex legal issues or daily issues facing Planned Unit Developments. Mr. Davis is both results-driven and passionate about exceeding the quality his clients expect and deserve. To facilitate education and advocacy, Mr. Davis is currently a member of the Northeast Florida Chapter of The Community Association Institute and serves on committees as needed within the organization.
Prior to joining Jimerson Birr, P.A., Mr. Davis was a licensed community association manager who owned and operated a successful management firm representing condos and homeowners’ associations throughout Nassau, Duval, and St. Johns counties. In addition to management duties, Mr. Davis brings experience navigating The Marketable Records Title Act (MRTA) preservations and revitalizations, collections, compliance, homeowner dispute resolutions, governing document review and interpretation, and many other issues affecting associations.
Mr. Davis was admitted to the Florida Bar after earning a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Mississippi, graduating cum laude with a concentration in Sports and Entertainment Law. While in law school, he served as the Chair of the Trial Advocacy Board, President of the Federal Bar Association, Vice President of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society, and as a member of the Business Law Institute, the Christian Law Society, the Public Interest Law Foundation and of the Dean’s Leadership Council. Mr. Davis was inducted into The University of Mississippi School of Law’s Trial Advocacy Hall of Fame after winning numerous awards at both state and national championship competitions.
Mr. Davis grew up in Nassau County, Florida. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from The University of Florida (UF), graduating cum laude minoring in Leadership Development and Agricultural and Natural Resource Law. While attending UF Mr. Davis was involved in many student organizations, including serving on the Board of Directors for the Board of College Councils, the Alpha Gamma Rho Executive Board, and as the Director of Satellite Affairs in Student Government. Upon graduation, Mr. Davis was an analyst in the Margin and Monetary Approvals department at Merrill Lynch on the Global Wealth and Investment Management Team.
Today, Mr. Davis lives in St. Johns County with his two dogs (Gator and Marley) and spends his weekends with 90,000 of his closest friends cheering on the Florida Gators. Mr. Davis also enjoys grilling out, spending time with close friends and family, and experiencing new cultures.
