Overview
Taylor K. Hainley is an attorney at Jimerson Birr, where she first started as a summer associate in May of 2023. Ms. Hainley collaborates with senior attorneys on a wide range of matters, including corporate and transactional advisement, corporate financing, estate planning, and general business litigation. Her meticulous approach to legal advisement ensures that clients receive thorough and tailored counsel.
Ms. Hainley earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law, where she graduated cum laude. During her last two years in law school, Ms. Hainley was a research assistant to the Wilson Associate Professor in Business Law, Dr. Laura Phillips-Sawyer, who focuses her attention on U.S. antitrust law and policy. Additionally, she held the position of Executive Online Editor for the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law. Ms. Hainley earned her undergraduate degree from Florida State University (Go Noles!) in 2019, where she graduated summa cum laude.
Before joining Jimerson Birr, Ms. Hainley was selected as a legal extern with the Georgia Statewide Business Court. Her work at the Georgia Statewide Business Court exposed her to high-stakes business disputes, preparing her for the complexities of corporate litigation. Additionally, she completed a corporate counsel externship with Secureworks, Inc., where she gained hands-on experience at the intersection of cybersecurity and business, working with legal compliance, risk assessment, and data privacy issues.
Ms. Hainley was born and raised near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and moved to the San Marco area of Jacksonville in June 2020 following her graduation from Florida State. Outside of the office, Ms. Hainley enjoys exploring Jacksonville’s vibrant restaurant scene and planning her next tropical beach getaway.
