Jimerson Birr Shareholders Honored as 2013 Rising Stars From Florida Super Lawyers

Jacksonville, Fla. – July 1, 2013 – The law firm of Jimerson & Cobb, P.A., is home to two shareholders receiving recognition from Florida Super Lawyers Magazine. Attorneys Charles Jimerson and Christopher Cobb were both named 2013 Rising Stars, a peer-nominated recognition designating the
top attorneys in the state under the age of 40. Less than 2.5 percent of attorneys in the state receive this recognition.

Charles Jimerson has received professional recognition as an AV® rated lawyer from Martindale Hubbell, from Florida Trend and Florida Super Lawyers magazines and was named to the Jacksonville Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” in 2011, an award designating the top 40 business professionals under
the age of 40 in Northeast Florida. Jimerson is also a member ofthe Leadership Jacksonville class of 2013. He is a graduate ofthe University of Florida Levin College of Law, the University of Kentucky Gatton College ofBusiness and Economics and the Campbell University Lundy-Fetterman School of
Business. While attending Campbell, he also served as an active duty Special Operations Combat Meteorologist in the United States Air Force.

Christopher Cobb is recognized as an expert in construction law by The Florida Bar as a Board Certified Construction Attorney. He is AV® rated by Martindale Hubbell and has been recognized by Florida Super Lawyer Magazine as a Rising Star in Construction Law for the past four consecutive years. Cobb was named to the Jacksonville Business Journal’s “40 Under 40″ in 2010. In 2012, he was appointed to the Construction Industry Licensing Board by Gov. Rick Scott. Cobb is a graduate of Florida Coastal School of Law and University of North Florida. During law school, Mr. Cobb was signed to the
Montreal Expos International Baseball Organization and took a leave of absence from law school to play professional baseball.
