Jessica S. Mazariego Named 2026 36 Under Thirty-Six Honoree by FLA YLD

TAMPA, Fla. – Jimerson Birr is proud to announce that Partner Jessica S. Mazariego has been selected as a 2026 honoree for the Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division’s prestigious 36 Under Thirty-Six award. The annual recognition highlights 36 outstanding young lawyers across Florida who have demonstrated excellence in their practice, leadership in the legal profession, and meaningful service to their communities.
Mazariego is recognized for her achievements in complex commercial and real estate litigation, where she represents businesses, investors, developers, and associations in high-stakes disputes throughout Florida and beyond. Known for her strategic advocacy and collaborative approach, she partners closely with clients to align litigation strategy with long-term business objectives.
Her practice spans a wide range of matters, including breach of contract, fraud, employment disputes, trade secret misappropriation, construction claims, surety and bond disputes, creditor rights, foreclosure, and homeowners’ association litigation. In addition to her trial work, Mazariego is an accomplished appellate attorney who has successfully presented oral arguments before Florida’s Fifth District Court of Appeal.
Beyond her litigation practice, Mazariego is deeply committed to advancing the legal profession. She currently serves on The Florida Bar’s Law Related Education Committee, where she contributes to initiatives that promote education, mentorship, and civic engagement throughout the state.

A Tampa-based Partner at Jimerson Birr, Mazariego earned her Juris Doctor cum laude from Stetson University College of Law, where she was one of a select few students to obtain an International Law Certificate of Concentration. She also holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Psychology and Criminology from the University of South Florida Honors College.
The 36 Under Thirty-Six award is presented to young lawyers across Florida, both men and women, who demonstrate professional excellence, leadership, and service early in their careers.
