Creating a positive workplace environment takes more than just great work; it requires appreciation, connection, and a shared commitment to our company culture. One of the things that makes Jimerson Birr special is the people who contribute to our culture every single day. This week, we celebrated the people who support our firm from behind the scenes and participated in wellness-focused team-building activities. We also formally recognized employees who demonstrate our core values and strengthen the workplace environment that sets us apart.

Mat Pilates Session with Shelby
Encouraging movement and healthy habits is extremely important to us here at JB. From movement challenges to weekly CEO walks, we are always looking for new ways to support our team’s wellness and promote a positive work environment. This past Wednesday, our very own [Shelby and/or role/title] hosted a mat Pilates class. This quick, but effective, 30-minute class was just the kind of mid-week reset the office needed.
Celebrating the Little Things
National Guacamole Day this week was a great example of how we seize our opportunities to bring a little extra fun to the office whenever we can. We recognize that building a strong work environment includes taking the time to celebrate the little things in life; including avocados. Days like these offer a fun opportunity for our team members to connect and enjoy a break from their daily routines.

At the end of each quarter, we like to take a step back to assess our progress as a firm and as individuals. What are we doing right? What could we do a bit better going forward? One of the important aspects we look out for each quarter is outstanding work from our employees in any of three categories: Service, Quality, and Results. These past few months, three special individuals stood out for their accomplishments, employee performance, and commitment to their goals:

Recognizing the Team Behind Our Technology
This week, we also took a moment to celebrate our IT team by recognizing all the hard work they do behind the scenes to keep our workplace environment running smoothly. Their commitment to our technology infrastructure has had a huge impact on our daily work and overall success, and we wouldn’t be where we are today without them.
