Overview
Brandon C. Meadows is the Managing Partner of Jimerson Birr and a trial lawyer who is Board Certified in Business Litigation by The Florida Bar — a credential held by only a select group of Florida attorneys. From the firm’s Jacksonville headquarters, he counsels businesses across Florida through their most significant commercial disputes, bringing the strategic judgment of a firm leader and the instincts of a courtroom advocate.
When litigation is unavoidable, Brandon quickly assesses a company’s needs and builds a strategy designed to win. In high-stakes, high-pressure matters — where exposure is consequential and every second counts — he moves with composure and a relentless focus on the client’s business objectives. That is why he is entrusted with many of the firm’s most significant and time-sensitive cases, including emergency injunctions to protect minority shareholders’ rights; safeguard confidential information, customer lists, and trade secrets; halt the misappropriation of corporate assets; recover collateral before it can be concealed or wasted; and ensure that thousands of critically ill patients retain access to life-saving medicines and therapies.
Brandon represents businesses of every size, from Fortune 500 companies to closely held startups. He understands that even the “smallest” issues can carry serious legal and practical consequences, so he pairs sophisticated advocacy with genuine attentiveness and accessibility. Clients rely on him for clear judgment under pressure and a relentless focus on the outcome that matters most to their business.
A competitor at his core, Brandon has carried that drive into the courtroom throughout his career. As Managing Partner, he leads the firm’s strategic growth initiatives and serves as a leader of its complex litigation team. He has been recognized by Super Lawyers as a “Rising Star” every year from 2017 through 2024 — an honor reserved for no more than 2.5% of eligible Florida attorneys. He also gives back to the profession through The Florida Bar, serving on the Fourth Circuit Grievance Committee and the Eminent Domain Substantive Law Committee, and he remains an active mentor to the firm’s emerging leaders and developing attorneys.
Originally from the Bluegrass State, Brandon and his wife, Jenna — also an attorney — came to Florida for law school and stayed. They are proud parents of three children, plus two dogs: Pete Zah, a Jack Russell, and Sue-shi, a standard poodle. In his free time, Brandon enjoys guitar jam sessions, weekend beach getaways, taking his boys to the driving range, dancing with his daughter, and cheering on his Kentucky Wildcats (Go Big Blue!).
